
You can play a shooter set in the Vietnam War for free on Steam
Developers are conducting a pre-release test of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.
In late May, Expression Games announced a new promotion. PC players on Steam are invited to try Hell Let Loose: Vietnam for free as part of an "open beta test."
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a multiplayer shooter whose creators will immerse players in the setting of the Vietnam War:
Join battles in dangerous terrain with mountain gorges and jungles, where the North Vietnamese Army clashes with the US Armed Forces. Build tunnels, fly helicopters, operate patrol boats, use authentic weapons, and work together with your team to achieve victory.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will feature six large-scale maps that authentically recreate real locations. Players will be able to play as the North Vietnamese Army or the US Armed Forces, choose one of 17 roles in a team of 50 players. Various vehicles will be available, including patrol boats and helicopters.
The Hell Let Loose: Vietnam page on Steam is available at the following link, free access will last until June 1. To participate in the promotion, you need to click the "Request Access" button on the game page. The game's release is scheduled for June 18, 2026.
