Technology and hardware capabilities are improving, but many PC gamers are not rushing to move to 4K and beyond. Valve's statistics indicate completely different preferences.
Valve continues to survey PC gamers who use Steam, and then publishes statistics on the "hardware" they use.
Data for the past month recently became available, making it possible to present an average PC, "assembled" based on the received information about components.
