Only a few days remain until Summer Game Fest, and the show's organizer, Geoff Keighley, is already actively building anticipation, openly calling the upcoming event the biggest in the exhibition's history.

His cryptic social media posts are adding fuel to the fire. This time, the host published a message with the words "Hopium for ______ getting announced this week", leaving a blank space instead of the project's name.

Fans particularly noted the number of characters in the blank — it perfectly matches the spelling of Half-Life 3. This coincidence instantly stirred up the community, especially given that Geoff Keighley had published hints before.

For instance, a few days ago, he posted a GIF animation of rising steam, which many also interpreted as a direct reference to Steam.

Furthermore, players' attention was recently drawn to an interactive tour and welcome guide for a new Steam Machine discovered by dataminers in the backend. Against this backdrop, old insights resurfaced that Valve might introduce a new device simultaneously with a major game announcement, linking the potential console release with Half-Life 3.
