Interactive Drama Road to Empress II Gets New Trailer and Release Date - Developers Reveal Project Features
After completion, the game will create a psychological profile of the player's personality, formed based on the decisions made.
New One Studio has officially announced the imminent release of Road to Empress II – a sequel to the successful interactive FMV drama. This time, the story will unfold at the court of Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history.
Players will participate in political intrigues, choose allies, consider state petitions, and make decisions that can change the fate of an entire dynasty. Unlike the first part, the consequences of many choices will not manifest immediately, making it harder for players to predict further developments.
All scenes are filmed in 4K resolution with professional actors, large-scale historical sets, and costumes. The total runtime of the filmed content, including all branches and alternative endings, is approximately 1000 minutes. As a bonus, after completing the game, users will receive a detailed psychological profile, formed based on their ruling style.
Road to Empress II will be released on June 9th for iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.
