"Having Fun Is Fun": The Cat in the Hat: Rainy Day Mayhem Mini-Game Collection Announced, Based on "The Cat in the Hat"

Publisher Outright Games and developer Casual Brothers have announced The Cat in the Hat: Rainy Day Mayhem — a family party game based on Dr. Seuss's book "The Cat in the Hat".

The game will feature key characters from the original source, including the sensible Sally, the energetic Johnny, the mischievous Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Little Cat A. The Cat in the Hat himself and the experienced Fish will accompany players and help them throughout the game.

The Cat in the Hat: Rainy Day Mayhem will offer a single-player mode and cooperative challenges with friends. Two main formats will be available: "Find the Cat," where you have to search the entire house for the main instigator of the mess, and a chaotic challenge mode with 18 mini-games — from catching penguins to decorating a festive cake.

The project will be released on October 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
