The release of Gothic 1 Remake is approaching, and recently information has emerged online about how much space the game will take up on PlayStation 5 and when preloading will begin.
This was reported by PlayStation Game Size, which tracks such details. The game is expected to weigh 32.337 GB (version 01.000.001) — very little compared to many modern AAA releases.
The developers of the "Gothic" remake will allow players to download the game two days before its release: preloading will be available on June 3, at 8:00 PM Moscow time.
It is not yet clear whether preloading for the first "Gothic" remake will be available on other platforms. The developers have not yet published a notification on Steam (a few days ago, only the release roadmap was presented).
Gothic 1 Remake is scheduled for release on June 5, 2026 — on PC, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. You can add the game to your Steam wishlist via the following link.
Earlier, Alkimia Interactive community manager Timur "T-Moor" Khodyrev said that the remake's creators plan to release an update for the PC version of "Gothic".
