"Spider-Man" with an 18+ rating: Tom Holland wants to star in a Punisher project
Tom Holland found a way to thank Jon Bernthal for his participation in the film "Spider-Man: A New Day."
Jon Bernthal's Punisher will appear in the upcoming film "Spider-Man: A New Day" and help Tom Holland's Peter Parker deal with new threats. Now Holland is ready to return the favor to his colleague. In a fresh interview with Empire, the actor admitted that he would like to appear in one of the solo projects about Frank Castle:
"I would love to pop up in one of his shows. Let's see what an R-rated Spider-Man looks like. I'm very grateful to Jon for taking that leap and being a part of our film, and I'd love to repay him in kind."
In addition to "Spider-Man: A New Day," Holland and Bernthal have another major project coming out in 2026 — Christopher Nolan's "Odyssey." Holland plays Telemachus, Odysseus's son, and Bernthal plays the Spartan king Menelaus.
The world premiere of "Odyssey" will take place on July 17, 2026. "Spider-Man: A New Day" will be released in cinemas two weeks later — on July 31.
