Nintendo Switch Exclusive Heads to Smartphones: Mobile Pokémon Champions Announced

Players will be able to transfer progress from Switch and Pokémon from other franchise projects.

The Pokémon Company announced that the competitive arena-battler Pokémon Champions will officially be released on devices running iOS and Android on June 17, 2026. Pre-registration campaigns have already opened on both platforms.

The main feature of the project is deep integration into the brand's ecosystem. Thanks to the support of the Pokémon Home cloud service, gamers will be able to transfer their progress from the Switch version of Champions, as well as import their personal Pokémon rosters collected in other games of the series, including the console's Pokémon Legends: Arceus and the mobile Pokémon Go.
