Hobby World employees have opened pre-orders for the board game "Wandering Cities," designed for 2–4 players. It can now be purchased for 3990 rubles.
In this cozy family strategy game, players will build settlements on the backs of giants: a turtle, a crab, a toad, and a mole. Participants will have to engage in animal husbandry and agriculture, build houses, roads, and mills, and take care of their creation.
Users will find volumetric tablets with movable parts and eight fields for adjusting the difficulty level. The main goal of the game is to earn as many victory points as possible and make their city the most prosperous.
The core gameplay revolves around placing arable land squares – these bring the main benefit in the form of farm tokens and animals. In parallel, players will need to expand the city's territory, unlock useful buildings, develop the economy, and attract new settlers to gain additional VP.
It is important not only to invite the right people but also to skillfully plan the city's development, as different professions combine differently with each other. Animals deserve special attention. Dogs, pigs, and cows not only bring points at the end of the game – they can be used for unique effects, changing plans literally on the fly. The game ends when one of the players completely fills their meadow with arable land or reaches 25 victory points.
The Hobby Games website (owned by Hobby World) states that "Wandering Cities" is expected to arrive in stock in late July 2026, while the official Hobby World group on VK reports that the new product will go on sale in mid-June, so it is not yet entirely clear when the project will be released.
