Katanas to be added to Lords of the Fallen II at players' request - developers show new location

The soulslike creators are actively listening to the community and expanding the combat arsenal.

At Summer Game Fest, CI Games studio presented a new cinematic trailer for Lords of the Fallen II titled "Battle for Thorngar." In the video, the creators showed Isihuen – a massive location inspired by Asian mythology, guarded by the giant storm dragon Lingao, nicknamed Soaring Storm.

In addition, the developers announced that due to numerous requests from fans, a separate class focused on using katanas will be added to the game. Previously, battle scythes were also included in the list of available equipment at the community's request.

Lords of the Fallen II will be released in autumn 2026. The release will take place simultaneously on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
