Square Enix promised to bring Tifa's famous swimsuit back to Final Fantasy VII Revelation

The game will feature all the heroes' outfits from Rebirth.

Final Fantasy remakes game director Naoki Hamaguchi shared new details about Final Fantasy VII Revelation. According to him, the game will feature all the costumes that players could obtain in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, including Tifa's famous swimsuit from the resort town of Costa del Sol.

In an interview with the Japanese publication Gamespark, Hamaguchi spoke about the new equipment and character appearance system. The developers added a separate "skins" system that allows players to use any preferred costumes regardless of the chosen gear and its characteristics. Thus, players will be able to change the appearance of heroes without compromising combat effectiveness.

According to the director, Final Fantasy VII characters are so popular and recognizable that many fans want to play the game in their favorite outfits. Therefore, the developers made the costume selection as convenient as possible. Hamaguchi specifically confirmed that players will even be able to fight in Tifa's swimsuit.

In addition, the project lead revealed some details about the endgame content. Unlike previous parts of the trilogy, where the maximum level could be reached relatively quickly after completing the story, in Revelation, the developers have prepared many ultra-difficult challenges for the most dedicated fans.
