A Fresh Look at the Land of Ooo: First Trailer for "Adventure Time: Side Quests" Released

Only a few weeks remain until Finn and Jake's return.

Cartoon Network has released the debut trailer for the animated series "Adventure Time: Side Quests".

The video showcases the project's updated visual style, which emphasizes a lighter and more self-contained story. The new series will be a separate adventure within the "Adventure Time" universe and will not require deep familiarity with the main events of the franchise.

Changes have also affected the voice cast. Young Finn is now voiced by Sasha Knight. John DiMaggio returns as Jake, while Tom Kenny, Hynden Walch, Olivia Olson, and Niki Yang will once again voice the Ice King, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, and BMO, respectively.

Victor Courtright and Niki Yang directed the episodes, and Matthew Janzen composed the music for the series.

The premiere of "Side Quests" on Disney+ and Hulu is scheduled for June 29, 2026. Additionally, Cartoon Network Studios is currently working on a feature film set in the "Adventure Time" universe and another spin-off titled Heyo BMO.
