What was shown at PC Gaming Show 2026: Valheim 1.0, Stronghold 4, and Thief: The Dark Project Remastered
The PC Gaming Show had the unenviable task of picking up the attention of tired viewers after the spectacular Xbox Games Showcase, but the show was not without pleasant surprises. We watched the presentation for you and collected the main trailers and announcements in one article.
Star Trek: Outposts Unknown
Publisher Playstack and studio Magic Fuel Games presented the debut trailer for the city-building simulator Star Trek: Outposts Unknown. The events unfold in the 23rd century, parallel to the plot of the series "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds".
Players will have to lead a crew and build a research base in the X'Lehari star system. The outpost's development will be disrupted by the appearance of the "Rift" — a cosmic anomaly that generates dangerous storms and threatens the team along with an allied civilization. In addition to building modules with automated robotic arms, players will have to train officers, distribute duties, develop technologies, and lead the crew during combat encounters.
Star Trek: Outposts Unknown is scheduled for release in late 2026 for PC. A free demo is already available on Steam. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
P.O.N.
Publisher Spaghetti Cat and studio Team VAC presented a new trailer for the cooperative first-person stealth horror game P.O.N., which has already accumulated 800,000 wishlists on Steam.
Players will become ordinary members of a criminal syndicate and carry out assignments while hiding from ruthless heroes. The gameplay is built on stealth and teamwork: a direct confrontation with a pursuer usually ends in death, so the group will have to stay in the shadows, not split up, and rescue comrades. The developers promise unpredictable AI for the hero-pursuers, which will keep players in constant tension.
The project is being developed for PC and consoles. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition
Studios Relic Entertainment and Blackbird Interactive announced Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition — an updated re-release of the cult 2006 strategy game, timed to coincide with the series' 20th anniversary.
The edition will include the original game and two expansions — Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. Players will find three story campaigns, four factions, and over 50 maps for online battles. The developers have updated textures, lighting, shadows, reflections, and draw distance, while preserving the original visual style.
Also announced are support for ultrawide monitors, compatibility with user modifications, improved AI with a "Relentless" difficulty level, grid-based hotkeys, and a number of other improvements, including vehicle reverse movement and automatic squad replenishment at headquarters.
Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition will be released in autumn 2026 on PC. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Red Kiss
Publisher Fellow Traveller, known for Citizen Sleeper, and studio Wispfire presented Red Kiss — a narrative RPG about vampires in Berlin in 1989, at the twilight of the Cold War.
This is a story about a brood of vampires carrying out the orders of an eccentric leader nicknamed Daddy. The protagonist possesses a rare gift of telepathic communication and becomes an indispensable coordinator of nocturnal operations. Players will have to assign agents to spy missions, monitor their feeding, hide from authorities, and plan daring heists.
Red Kiss is inspired by tabletop systems. Random events and checks are based on a roulette wheel with dark and light sectors — an analogue of dice from Citizen Sleeper. Players will have to balance loyalty to their creator's plans with finding their own path in a divided Berlin.
Red Kiss is planned for release on PC. There is no release date yet. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Arcane Eats
Publisher Skystone Games and studio Wonderbelly Games presented a new trailer for the culinary card roguelike Arcane Eats. Players will have to run a restaurant and feed mythical guests — from goblins and orcs to fairies and dwarves.
The gameplay is built around placing ingredients on enchanted burners and improving them with magical utensils. You'll have to keep an eye on energy, cooking time, and critics' whims to earn "3 Mithril Stars." There will be three culinary guilds to choose from — Hearth, Grove, and Order — each with their own playstyles and card sets. Hiring waiters and assistants is also announced.
Arcane Eats is scheduled for release in late 2026 for PC. An extended demo is already available on Steam. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Serious Sam: Shatterverse
Devolver Digital and studio Behaviour Interactive presented a gameplay trailer for the cooperative roguelike shooter Serious Sam: Shatterverse, timed to coincide with the series' 25th anniversary. Uber-Mental has shattered the barriers between dimensions and fractured the universe, so Serious Sams from alternate worlds are gathering into the "Serious Program" — a squad of interdimensional cleaners.
Players will have to defeat five of Mental's warlords by traversing procedurally generated worlds and hand-crafted arenas. Each run will offer new combinations of weapons, hidden portals, anomalies, and modifiers. Death resets inventory, but players can upgrade between attempts.
Serious Sam: Shatterverse will be released in late 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Registration for closed beta testing has opened on Steam. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Control Resonant
Remedy Entertainment studio presented an extended gameplay trailer and an interview about the creation of Control Resonant — a direct sequel to the 2019 game. The developers talked about the change in tone and the transfer of chaos beyond the Oldest House.
The main character will be Dylan Faden, Jesse's brother. After waking from a coma, he discovers that the Hiss have taken over Manhattan and turned New York into a surreal labyrinth. Players will have to face "Structuring" — an otherworldly algorithm that reshapes reality, and huge boss-Resonants merged with the environment.
The sequel focuses on melee combat using the transforming weapon "Aberrant," which can take the form of, for example, a heavy sledgehammer or twin blades. Dylan will also be able to climb on the bodies of giants to hit vulnerable points and use gravitational anomalies to run on walls and ceilings.
Control Resonant will be released on September 24, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Sated
Publisher Critical Reflex, known for Buckshot Roulette and Mouthwashing, and studio Forest Reges presented Sated — a grotesque culinary simulator with roguelike and gambling elements.
Players will take on the role of a cursed chef, trapped in the kitchen of a train speeding through a decaying megastructure straight to hell. You'll have to cook with organs, industrial waste, live insects, batteries, and human eyes. The order of adding ingredients affects the result: the dish can become moldy, cursed, or even sentient.
Helping in the kitchen will be a gambling-addicted sentient refrigerator, operating like a psychopathic slot machine. Between feeding monsters, players can choose routes on a living map, visit shops, and collect modifiers. The main thing is to please the client, otherwise the chef himself will become the next dish.
Sated is planned for release on PC. Registration for the first public playtest has opened on Steam. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Gone Feral
Just Purkey Games studio presented Gone Feral — a brutal voxel action game about revenge in the style of 90s B-movies and Quentin Tarantino's crime films. Nathan Purkeypile, a Bethesda veteran who worked on Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Skyrim, and Starfield, is responsible for the development.
According to the plot, the unnamed hero was betrayed, and now he embarks on a path of total destruction. Gone Feral's structure resembles a sandbox in the spirit of Hitman: players will have to track down targets, approach them in various ways, and eliminate them with improvised means — from boomboxes to huge turkey legs. Enemies can also be pushed off roofs and ledges, and the killings are accompanied by fountains of angular voxel blood.
You can play alone or in online co-op. Release dates have not yet been announced, but registration for a closed playtest has already opened on Steam. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Abiotic Factor: Entropic Break
Deep Field Games studio and Playstack publishing house announced Entropic Break — the first major expansion for the cooperative survival simulator Abiotic Factor. Players will travel to sun-drenched islands and explore the abandoned GATE Leaf Test Facility.

American Chris David inherits the dilapidated Grand Hotel in the seaside town of Kingswood-on-Sea and tries to find out his father's fate. During the day, players restore the hotel with the help of talking tools, and at night they fend off otherworldly creatures with the same tools. The investigation and renovation are allotted a cycle of 30 days and nights.
The release will take place in late 2026 on PC and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also appear on Xbox Game Pass. A free demo is available on Steam. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.

Players will become crew members of the orbital station ESS Starseeker, which serves as a base for preparing expeditions and upgrading equipment. From there, teams of up to four people will embark on unexplored planets, extract resources, and encounter aggressive alien fauna. One of the key mechanics will be the free modification of terrain, allowing players to reshape the landscape and pave the way to hidden treasures.
Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions will be released in early access on Steam on June 11, 2026. On the same day, the game will appear on Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Virtue and a Sledgehammer
Studios Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour, with the support of Devolver Digital, presented a new trailer for the adventure action game Virtue and a Sledgehammer.
The protagonist returns to his hometown in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, inhabited by androids — digital ghosts of former neighbors. Armed with a heavy sledgehammer, he tries to deal with past traumas. Players will have to break walls, destroy buildings, and pave new routes through abandoned areas. Environmental destruction is closely linked to the narrative: destroying familiar places awakens memories and reveals the hero's family secrets.

There are 20 character classes with unique abilities to choose from. As the game progresses, mercenaries will quarrel, rebel, and create new problems for their employer.
There are no release dates yet. The game is being developed for PC. A free combat demo is available on Steam.

Players will take control of Resistance fighters, known as Timehackers, and travel between alternative timelines of a cyberpunk world. The combat system is built around aerial combos, juggling enemies, and parkour. The video showed a swordsman with twin blades, a girl with a transforming weapon, and combinations of elemental abilities like fire pillars, ice attacks, and chain lightning. As the game progresses, players will be able to assemble hundreds of builds from Codes and Blessings.

The main new feature is full-fledged online co-op. Now you can clear levels of criminals with friends. The combat system has more environmental interactions: enemies can be thrown into deep fryers, disarmed, and their weapons used against them. The single-player mode has also been updated with dynamic objectives and a redesigned card system.
The full release is expected in 9-12 months. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.
Stronghold 4
Firefly Studios announced Stronghold 4 — a new installment in the medieval city-building strategy series. The trailer was presented by actors Samantha Bear and Ben Starr, who voiced the main characters of the campaign.
The developers call the game the most ambitious project in the studio's history. The transition to Unreal Engine 5 allowed for dynamic day-night cycles, weather effects, and terrain deformation that affects sieges. The economy is more deeply integrated with castle building, and multiplayer supports up to eight players.
Stronghold 4 is expected to be released in late 2026 on PC. A free demo will be released on June 23. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.

The main feature of the project is items instead of characters. Weapons and equipment determine abilities, playstyle, and role in the team, and assembled builds can be changed directly during the match. In the new video, the developers said that in response to community feedback, they added Spires mode — fast 3v3 battles that allow players to master the combat system and experiment with builds before moving on to the main Ascension mode.

The emotions and memories of the residents become a resource for character development.
The visual style combines Gareth Damian Martin's original illustrations with grainy photography, and among the sources of inspiration, the authors cite weird fiction, British industrial culture of the 1980s, and post-punk.
The game is in early development. The project page can already be found on Steam. The trailer is available at the following link: YouTube.

Game Freak studio revealed new details about the upcoming action RPG Beast of Reincarnation. Game director Kota Furushima spoke about a world afflicted by the Blight emanating from the beast of reincarnation.
The Blight infects plants, animals, and people, turning them into Malefactors. The main character, Emma, also carries this power and can use it, for example, to create vines from her hand, cover long distances, and climb to heights. Emma is devoid of memories and emotions, so survivors fear her and consider her a "corrupted shell." The heroine is voiced by Yui Ishikawa, known for her role as 2B in NieR: Automata.
