While the fourth season of the animated series "The Legend of Vox Machina" has just premiered on Prime Video, the project team is already hard at work on its final chapter. Voice actor and one of the show's creators, Sam Riegel, told Collider in an interview that production on the fifth season is more than halfway complete.
"Season five is more than halfway done. And it's really good. But the current season is also great, so forget about season five for now and focus on the present! But the finale will be amazing."
Despite the brisk pace, fans will still need to be patient. According to Riegel, the team will need several more months to fully complete production. Then, a long process of localization into many languages will begin.
Prime Video is responsible for localization and further distribution, so the streaming service will decide when to release the final season. The premiere is tentatively expected in 2027.
