Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster Switch 2 Version Announced

The updated collection was previously released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita.

Square Enix announced the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster. The digital version of the collection will be available on the Nintendo eShop on July 23. A physical key card edition will also be prepared for the Asian market.

The collection includes two games. The first is Final Fantasy X, which tells the story of blitzball star Tidus, who embarks on a journey with summoner Yuna, aiming to save the world of Spira from a destructive threat named Sin. The second is Final Fantasy X-2, set two years after the events of the original. Yuna becomes a sphere hunter and, along with Rikku and Paine, sets out to find answers to a new mystery.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will offer a number of improvements:

• fully updated graphics for characters, monsters, and environments in high definition;
• reworked musical score with re-arranged orchestrations
• content from the international versions of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2
