Owen Dennis, the showrunner of the Among Us animated series, known for "Infinity Train," shared his plans for a potential continuation of the project. In an interview with CinemaBlend, the creator admitted that if renewed for a second season, he doesn't want to make a direct sequel — instead, he is considering an anthology format.
"I love anthologies like 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents,' 'The Twilight Zone,' or 'Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities.' If we get the green light for a continuation, a cool idea would be to keep the same characters but completely change the order of murders and see how the story develops in a new way. In this format, you can do something really cool."
The premiere of the Among Us series took place on the eve of Summer Game Fest, where a new single-player game for the franchise was also announced. Because of this, the project effectively went unnoticed by critics: currently, only one review from GamesRadar is available on Rotten Tomatoes. However, early viewers received the show positively. The user rating on Rotten Tomatoes is 98%, and the IMDb score is 7.3 based on the first thousand reviews.
