Elijah Wood and Ashley Johnson Search for a Traitor: Paramount Releases Among Us Animated Series

The premiere of the first season coincided with the announcement of the single-player spin-off Among Us Story: On Guard.

The first season of the animated series Among Us, based on the game of the same name, premiered on the Paramount+ streaming service. All ten episodes are available for immediate viewing.

The show was created by Owen Dennis ("Infinity Train") with the support of CBS Studios and the Innersloth team, developers of the original game. Titmouse studio was responsible for the animation. The plot completely replicates the game's premise: colorful astronauts on board a spaceship try to identify an impostor-killer before he destroys the crew.

Famous actors participated in voicing the characters: Elijah Wood (green), Randall Park (red), Ashley Johnson (purple), Dan Stevens (blue), Patton Oswalt (white), Yvette Nicole Brown (orange), and Liv Hewson (black).

The series' release coincided with the announcement of the spin-off Among Us Story: On Guard, in which players can take on the role of a Guard responsible for security on a spaceship.
