DC Studios has released two new clips from the upcoming "Supergirl." One of them confirms that the cinematic Lobo, played by Jason Momoa, will retain his classic comic book biography.
In the released scene, Lobo enters an alien bar, walking past the table of Kara Zor-El (Milly Alcock) and her young companion Ruthye (Eve Ridley) to interrogate the bartender. Ruthye considers recruiting the mercenary to their side, but Kara dampens her enthusiasm, warning that Lobo is "an immortal with a god complex who destroyed an entire planet." This line directly references the DC canon, where Lobo massacred almost the entire population of his home planet Czarnia.
The second clip focused more on Kara herself: in it, Ruthye asks the heroine why her superpowers don't work on all planets.
The global premiere of "Supergirl" is scheduled for June 26, 2026.
