"The Walking Dead" Turned into a 2D Beat 'em up: The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival Announced

The exact release date has not yet been revealed, but PC users can already try out the demo version of the project.

Publisher Trailmark Games and Odaclick Game Studio, known for The Karate Kid: Street Rumble, have unveiled The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival — a new side-scrolling beat 'em up set in the universe of the popular AMC series "The Walking Dead".

The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

The story will center on characters familiar to franchise fans — Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne. Players will have to fight their way through walker-filled tunnels, ruined settlements, and fortified enemy bases. In addition to hordes of zombies, human enemies will also be encountered — in particular, the Saviors led by Negan.

The developers promise dynamic arcade battles using characters' signature weapons, combos, and powerful finishing moves.

The story campaign is inspired by the famous All Out War arc and offers its own interpretation of the war with the Saviors. The authors promise not only familiar enemies but also unexpected events related to the world of "The Walking Dead".
