Players are expecting the imminent start of sales for Steam Machine and Steam Frame.

Recently, journalists from The Verge noticed a large shipment of goods to the US. It appears that Valve is beginning to accumulate warehouse stock of Steam Frame VR headsets, as well as Steam Machine devices.

According to available data, in June, the German container ship Posen, which arrived from Shanghai, docked in Los Angeles. According to Brad Lynch, who monitors Valve's activities, these are the first shipments of virtual reality headsets (Steam Frame). The shipment is estimated at 13 tons or "at least 20 thousand devices."

Last month, reports surfaced that in April-May, Valve imported tens of tons of "gaming consoles" over several days – there were speculations that these were not additional batches of Steam Deck, but specifically Steam Machine. According to The Verge's estimates, there could now be about "140 tons of Steam Machine" in the US.

Earlier, Valve indicated that it planned to start sales of Steam Machine and Steam Frame by the end of summer 2026.

There have been no reports of similar shipments of devices for stock accumulation in other regions yet.
