"We Recommend Changing Your Device": Zenless Zone Zero Broke After Update 3.0 - miHoYo Responded to Player Complaints

The game does not run very well on some mobile devices.

A major update 3.0 "Somnambulist's Confession" was recently released for Zenless Zone Zero. The developers introduced new technologies and improvements to the game, as well as added content.

miHoYo (HoYoverse) reviewed community feedback and published a list of known bugs, as well as provided some recommendations.

For example, a bug was found where, after updating to version 3.0, the screen resolution might be displayed incorrectly when the PC client is launched for the first time. Those who encounter this problem are advised to manually adjust the appropriate resolution in the settings.

On Sony Xperia 1 VIII, Sony Xperia 1 VII, and subsequent Sony series models based on Snapdragon 8 Elite, as well as on devices with Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th generation, periodic image stuttering and freezes occur, affecting the normal course of the game — the authors of Zenless Zone Zero recommend that players change their device.

The developers also noted that if the driver is updated to 610.47 (as of 05/2026) and the AI frame interpolation function is enabled in the NVIDIA App, game crashes may occur. For now, they suggest disabling this option. This problem is promised to be fixed "in the near future."

• Phaetons Faction Agent Pyrois (Aether, Assault)
