Many are waiting for the next installment of the Rockstar Games franchise and plan to spend that day in Vice City.

The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is gradually approaching, and some fans are "not waiting, but preparing." The launch of the new game will be a massive event, and some businesses will be forced to close.

For example, a message from the management of the American company Burger Motorsports went viral in the community. The management decided to announce a "temporary suspension of operations" for the entire company on Thursday, November 19, 2026 — many employees took vacation in advance for this period to play the new installment of the franchise:

After analyzing numerous employee scheduling conflicts, management has concluded that normal company operations may be disrupted due to the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. Several team members have already notified management that they will be out of reach and/or "in Vice City" on that day. Therefore, delays in the work of [various departments…] are possible.

Burger Motorsports managers expect normal operations to resume after "employees complete their initial exploration of the game, complete at least one mission, and return to reality." They thanked customers and partners for their patience and understanding "during this unprecedented cultural moment."

In a recent conversation with a TikTok blogger, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick once again confirmed that the release of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November of this year. However, this is currently only a console release; Rockstar Games has not yet announced the PC version's release date.
