Gothic 1 Remake PC Sound Fixed - Mini-Patch Released
Sound and AMD technology should now work correctly.
Alkimia Interactive continues to gradually fix the remake of the first Gothic. Recently, the developers released a small patch designed to eliminate some errors.
The hotfix for Gothic 1 Remake addresses issues with AMD FSR technology – it should now enable correctly – as well as problems with muffled sound, which many players had previously complained about. The developers are also continuing to work on a larger patch that will fix other issues identified by community members.
Currently, the hotfix is available for the PC version of Gothic 1 Remake. The developers are preparing an update for other platforms as well, but have not yet announced its release date – players are urged to await news. The planned release date for the next major patch for the remake has also not been named.
Overall, the technical issues of Gothic 1 Remake did not overshadow its release: the game launched on Steam with "very positive" reviews, an 88% rating after more than 24 thousand reviews.
In the Gothic remake, players encounter a specific lock-picking mini-game, which has become a huge problem for a significant number of community members. One tech enthusiast developed a special solver service for such tasks.
