The game is currently only available on PC. Console versions are not expected before 2028.

The tactical multiplayer shooter WARDOGS from Bulkhead studio has already surpassed 1.25 million copies sold just a few hours after its early access release.

Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer called the launch results incredible in an interview with IGN. According to him, the team has spent the last few months trying to explain to the audience in as much detail as possible what WARDOGS is and what it is not. The developers even published a list of ten reasons why, in their opinion, the game should not be bought at launch, as they did not want users to purchase it solely due to hype.

WARDOGS is a 100-player tactical first-person shooter where three teams battle for control of objectives. One of the key features of the project is the need not just to capture territories, but to independently create and fortify forward operating bases.

Players can build turrets, S.A.M. anti-aircraft missile systems to combat helicopters, and drilling rigs at the base, which speed up task completion. At the same time, transport plays an important role: individual players can transport fighters and necessary materials to objectives.

The economic system is also closely linked to the gameplay. Money is awarded for kills and assisting in eliminating opponents, reviving allies, and building fortifications. The funds received can be spent on improved weapons, armor, ammunition, and other equipment.
