After 2 years, MMORPG Gloria Victis resurrected - the game relaunched as free-to-play
The MMORPG in a medieval setting has found a second life.
Gloria Victis was relaunched in June. The MMORPG returned as a free-to-play game. A few years ago, the project was closed "mainly due to financial reasons," as well as developer burnout.
However, Gloria Victis got a second chance when gamigo became interested in the game and eventually acquired the rights to it.
The events of this MMORPG unfold in a medieval setting, with developers emphasizing realism. The game's creators described it as "Mount & Blade meets Planetside 2" – it uses non-target combat and gamers can take on different roles:
Explore a breathtaking atmospheric world created by fans of "The Witcher" series and Gothic. Be part of a living society and become what you want: a soldier, knight, swordsman, hunter, blacksmith, builder, merchant, farmer ... The choice is yours!
Currently, the new owners of Gloria Victis distribute the game for free and sell DLCs for it, including a soundtrack and various "support packs" that contain experience boosters, a special title, additional slots (e.g., +1 to mount limit), and so on.
