On June 20, 2026, the 11th edition Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game starter set, dubbed "Armageddon," will finally hit store shelves.
Now it's time to look at new pictures. Games Workshop staff asked some community artists to paint their favorite figures from this set — from the magnificent Blood Angels Chaplain to the insane Weirdboy, illuminated by the glow of his own mental power.
John Gomez, Jose David Gonzalez Ramos, Darcy Bono, Juan Sanz, Lucas Kuhn, Marko Miladinovic, Patrick Brampton, Sam Lenz, Thibault Ram, Vincenzo Celeste, and Virginia Rosenberg shared their works.
The Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon set can currently be purchased for $295 (21,631 rubles). It contains 23 Space Marine miniatures and 38 Ork miniatures, a core rules booklet, the "Armageddon: Operation Imperator" lore book, a mission deck (Chapter Approved 2026–27), a "Dominatus" narrative campaign deck, Armageddon datacards, and an Armageddon decal sheet.
The Space Marines received a Captain with Relic Shield, a Librarian, a Chaplain with Jump Pack, an Ancient-Standard Bearer, an Intercessor Squad, Vanguard Veterans, an Eradicator Squad with heavy bolters, and a "Landspeeder" — an anti-gravity vehicle. And the Orks brought a Warboss, a Bigboss, a Standard Bearer, a Painboy, a Weirdboy, Boyz, Gretchin, a Trukk, and a Big Mek Dakkaryg.
