Warhammer 40,000 Authors Show Unboxing of "Armageddon" Set with New Miniatures
Thanks to a stream and new videos, fans of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game were able to find out exactly which miniatures can be found in the "Armageddon" starter set.
Games Workshop kept its promise and unboxed the "Armageddon" starter set for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game during a special stream.
Inside the box, you can find 23 Space Marine miniatures and 38 Ork miniatures (push-fit assembly), a core rules booklet, the "Armageddon: Operation Emperor" lore book, a mission deck (Chapter Approved 2026–27), a "Dominatus" narrative campaign deck, Armageddon datacard sheets, and an Armageddon decal sheet.
The Space Marines received a Captain with Relic Shield, a Librarian, a Chaplain with Jump Pack, an Ancient with Banner, a squad of Intercessors, Vanguard Veterans, a squad of Eradicators with heavy bolters, and a "Landspeeder" – an anti-gravity vehicle.
The Orks were given a Warboss, a Bigboss, a Banner Nob, a Painboy, a Weirdboy, Boyz, Gretchin, a Wartrakk, and a Big Mek Dakkaryg.
The "Operation Emperor" book is filled with up-to-date information about the war from the 11th edition. It will be an ideal companion for those starting a new campaign on Armageddon.
Videos dedicated to the set can be found on the Warhammer 40,000 YouTube channel: Space Marines, Orks, stream recording.
