Games Workshop Team Painted Miniatures from the Warhammer 40,000 "Armageddon" Starter Set
The 11th edition starter set for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game is now available for pre-order, so it's time to take a look at the painted versions of the miniatures from "Armageddon" that have been handled by the Warhammer Studio staff.
The Warhammer Studio staff – the creative division of Games Workshop – have already gotten their hands on the 11th edition starter set for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game, dubbed "Armageddon," so it's time to see how they painted some of the new miniatures.
Adam added a "Landspeeder" to his "Ravenwing." This hovering gun platform has been a classic part of the 2nd Company of the "Dark Angels" for decades. The new addition fits perfectly into the overall picture thanks to its bluish-black paint scheme and the hood on the gunner's head.
Ivan was drawn to the Warboss. He chose a bright orange color to contrast with his hulking figure's bright green skin, and even hand-painted the pirate glyph of the corsairs (also known as Ork Freebooterz) on the back banner.
Timothy went a step lower in the Ork hierarchy to paint a brutal Bigboss from the "Deathskulls" clan. He is clad in blue gear, adorned with checkered patterns and spiky details resembling lightning or sharp teeth.
Pete raised the banner of his order's Armageddon campaign, painting a dynamic Ancient (Space Marine and Company Standard Bearer) in a stylish, quartered color scheme.
Dominic also worked on a Warboss, but for him, he chose a darker and more brutal color scheme with dark green skin and bloody wear marks all over the model. Pre-orders for the "Armageddon" starter set opened today. It can currently be purchased on the official website for $295 (21,733 rubles).
