Paradox's Space Strategy and Action Game with Battle Robots are Free to Play on Steam

Players will be able to experience Stellaris and MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries.

Paradox Interactive has launched a "free weekend" promotion, allowing Steam users to play the grand space strategy game Stellaris.

Players are invited to explore space, make discoveries, and build their own galactic empire:

Choose a path for your society and determine what challenges and stages of development await your pioneers. In the process, you will discover ancient treasures and witness galactic wonders. Be ready to forge alliances and wage wars.

The Stellaris page on Steam is available via the following link; the free access promotion will last until June 22, 20:00 Moscow time. A new expansion, Nomads, was recently released for the game.

Piranha Games studio also held a free access promotion for MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. This is an action game where players can control BattleMechs. These war machines are capable of "leveling entire cities":
