In recent months, the creators of King's Bounty: The Legend have been testing a "beta patch." It included various Steam achievements and improvements, such as refining the interface to support ultrawide screen resolutions.
After that, Fulqrum Publishing began releasing additional patches, and recently the developers announced the release of the "final" beta branch update. An additional achievement was introduced into the game, and the scroll interface was fixed.
The authors of King's Bounty: The Legend noted that they are "almost ready" to release everything into the main version of the game, and are also preparing to surprise players:
We are still preparing additional pleasant bonuses for you by the release date, so we need just a little more time to make everything perfect. But we can assure you, the update is just around the corner. As we said before, after the update is released, you will still be able to play the original version of the game in an additional branch. We will publish instructions on how to do this specifically at the time of release.

The developers noted that they "still intend" to release the same improvements and add unique achievements to "Princess in Armor" (King's Bounty: Armored Princess).
