The start of Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders is approaching, and against this backdrop, discussions about the game's potential cost have resumed online. A leak may have occurred, revealing the price of the new Rockstar Games title.
Users noticed fnac – a French retailer that operates across Europe. Products with codenames RS1, RS2, RS3, RS4, RS5, and a characteristic release date of November 19, 2026, appeared on the website. This date is set for the release of GTA VI, and therefore many players believe that these are positions for different editions of the Rockstar Games title or some related additional products.
The prices for these mysterious "RS" are known: 89.99 euros, 99.99 euros, 109.99 euros, 119.99 euros, and 199.99 euros. If these are not placeholders, then Grand Theft Auto VI could cost as much as the physical edition of Mario Kart World.
If the base edition of GTA VI really costs 90 euros, then in the US the game could cost 80 dollars (in Europe, games are usually slightly more expensive than in the US).
Rockstar Games and Take-Two themselves plan to announce the start of pre-orders on Thursday, June 25. The console release of Grand Theft Auto VI is expected in November of this year, while the PC version's release date has not yet been announced.
