Today, a shooter with an 84% rating was added to Xbox Game Pass

Abyssus, a cooperative roguelite shooter with an 84% rating on Steam, has arrived on Game Pass. Up to four players explore the submerged ruins of an alternate 19th century.

Today, Abyssus, an unusual first-person shooter with roguelite elements, previously only available on PC, was added to Xbox Game Pass.

The game offers an original "brinepunk" setting. Events unfold in an alternate version of the 19th century amidst the ruins of a vanished civilization, inspired by myths of Atlantis, as well as Inca and Aztec cultures. Players will take on the role of a mercenary exploring submerged temples and cities where ancient forces lurk.

The developers focused on fast-paced battles, a large number of upgrades, weapon modifications, and abilities. As in other roguelite games, after death, the run restarts, and players receive new random bonuses and altered locations.

Abyssus can be played solo or in co-op with up to four people.

On Steam, the game received "very positive" reviews and maintains an 84% rating.
