New Star Fox Becomes a Hit on Nintendo Switch 2 in the UK, Surpassing Previous Installments

Star Fox for Nintendo Switch 2 topped the UK physical sales chart, outperforming the launch sales of Star Fox Zero and Star Fox 64 3D.

The new Star Fox had a successful launch in the UK. The game for Nintendo Switch 2 took first place in the physical sales chart for the week ending June 27, 2026.

According to sales data, the new title launched almost twice as well as Star Fox Zero for Wii U. Compared to Star Fox 64 3D for Nintendo 3DS, the advantage was about 70%.

Second place in the chart went to EA Sports FC 26, and third to Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition. These were followed by Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and 007 First Light, which topped the rankings a week earlier.

The top also included Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Evercade NeoGeo Arcade 4, and Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection. Notably, 44% of the physical sales of the Rayman anniversary edition were for the Nintendo Switch version.

Also in the top ten were Resident Evil Requiem, Pokémon Pokopia, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and Football Manager 26.
