Gamers "predict" GTA VI plot based on rat's location in game screenshot
The hypothesis of enthusiastic players can be verified in a few months.
Rockstar Games recently opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI and released many new screenshots, but some players continue to study old footage and notice unexpected details.
Recently, a post with a theory about a plot twist in the game went viral in the community. In a frame featuring Lucia, who will be one of the protagonists of GTA VI, something can be seen on the roof in the background.
Some thought it was an object or a cat and didn't pay much attention to this background element, but GTA6Alerts decided to zoom in on the image and concluded that it might be a rat.
In the criminal world, a "rat" refers to traitors and informants, so this "detail" was seen as having depth. It is suggested that Rockstar might be hinting that the heroine will become a traitor with this symbol.
Previously, a similar theory was about another protagonist — some players suggested that Jason was not actually a gangster, but an undercover police officer. Now, Lucia has become the "main suspect."
GTA VI is expected to be released in November of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
