Those awaiting the third GTA VI trailer have resorted to studying the protagonist's muscles and are theorizing about a gameplay mechanic
Some players are not bored and are re-watching old materials, trying to uncover new details about GTA VI.
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI have already begun, but Rockstar Games has not yet released a full-fledged large trailer for the game. Some continue to delve into old materials and notice remarkable details.
A new discussion began after a discovery by user playb0y4L. He looked closely at the muscles of the main character Jason and noticed that his musculature differs significantly in two scenes.
Previously in the series, players could train the character and this was reflected in his appearance, so he suggested that GTA VI might introduce a similar mechanic:
Do these two screenshots essentially confirm that there's a fitness/bodybuilding mechanic in the game? Jason looks noticeably more muscular in one image than in the other — especially in the back, shoulders, and arms.
playb0y4L admits that lighting and camera angles can amplify the differences, but in this case (as he believes) "the difference seems too significant to ignore."
Discussion participants also recalled that in one of the shots, Jason was doing a bench press. However, there is an opinion that this animation is actually prepared for character switching, and not for a gameplay mechanic.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The developers have not yet announced the release date for the PC version of the game.
Digital Foundry experts believe that consoles will not be able to run the game at 60 FPS, but a 40-frame mode is possible.
