Windrose Survival Authors Show Ashlands Teasers - New Biome and Gameplay Improvements in the Works

The game will soon receive a lot of new content.

Recently, the authors of the pirate survival game Windrose reminded everyone of their existence. Kraken Express studio published a development diary and showed several teasers.

Currently, the developers are working on the Ashlands update – they plan to introduce a new biome into the game, as well as expand the storyline, ship systems, and more.

The new biome consists of lands that have experienced volcanic eruptions, which have affected the flora and fauna:

New islands, enemies, resources, items, recipes, points of interest, and, of course, a serious boss await you. New factions will also be introduced into the game, and your equipment collection will be replenished with fresh armor and weapon options. Here you will also have to search for relics and traces of the past preserved under volcanic ash. But if something survived the catastrophe and reached our days, it means that someone may still be guarding it…

Windrose developers plan to add new ship classes to the game (at least one will appear in Ashlands), pay more attention to ship gameplay, and expand existing building sets with new elements.
