Escape from Tarkov: Arena Developers Unveil Event with New Achievement and Warn of Critical Bug
Players will be able to try out very specific builds.
In early July, Battlestate Games studio announced the release of update 0.5.2 for the online shooter Escape from Tarkov: Arena. The developers introduced a new event.
The mode is called “S.B.E.U. HERO” and will be available in the game until July 7: “The craziest builds created by the EFT: Arena community await you. Double experience for matches in S.B.E.U. HERO mode.”
Participants will receive double experience for matches in S.B.E.U. HERO mode, and a special quest chain has also appeared in EFT: Arena. Players can add an achievement to their collection if they complete all event quests.
The developers warned of a technical issue:
During the final check, a bug was found – after a round, a black screen may appear in the game. If this happens, please reconnect to the match. A fix is already in the works and will be released soon.
To complete the event quests in Escape from Tarkov: Arena, players need to:
- Play a match in S.B.E.U. HERO mode and finish no lower than 5th place
- Eliminate 10 opponents in AIM mode in S.B.E.U. HERO mode
- Eliminate 1 opponent while airborne in S.B.E.U. HERO mode
- Eliminate 20 opponents with headshots in S.B.E.U. HERO mode
- Eliminate 20 opponents from the hip in S.B.E.U. HERO mode
