Valve accidentally removed an RPG magic simulator from Steam where "there are no right decisions"
Recently, Galdra Studios encountered an unexpected problem. Valve partially removed their game Arcadia Fallen II from Steam – the page disappeared from the store.
However, the first part is still available on Steam. The developers said that Valve moderators accidentally deleted an important parameter when editing categories on the Arcadia Fallen II page on Steam:
Support told us they would remove the “Steam Cloud” category from Arcadia Fallen II because some Linux players reported an issue that we could not reproduce or fix. However, in the process, they somehow also removed the “visible” tag from our store page. This resulted in the page itself disappearing, although you can still see the game's community hub, its DLC, and many other sub-sections. However, the page itself and the ability to buy the game are gone.
Now the creators of Arcadia Fallen II are trying to contact support again to get the game back on sale. The situation is aggravated by the fact that the incident with the removal occurred during the Steam summer sale.
In Arcadia Fallen II, the story centers on an apprentice studying magic. As in the original game, the authors emphasize that this is a story without “right” or “wrong” choices:
Seven years after the dramatic events in the Anemone Valley, the political situation surrounding magic in the Empire has reached a boiling point. However, at the Academy of Seven Winds, life goes on as usual, untouched by external upheavals. Here, the main concerns of students are exams, job prospects, and who will invite whom to the New Year's ball. But when a curious group of seniors discovers a secret hidden within the castle walls, their priorities change in an instant...
