Modder Adds Co-op to Resident Evil 3 Remake and Shows Gameplay

04:50The events in Resident Evil 3 will be synchronized between two PCs.
Recently, a modder known as HeySnippy presented a development diary for a co-op mode for the Resident Evil 3 remake. Capcom developed the game as a single-player experience, and the enthusiast is adding a second player to it — another Jill Valentine.
HeySnippy is working to allow two players to fully complete the Resident Evil 3 remake together. Enemies, items, and other game elements will be synchronized:
This is a full two-player co-op throughout the entire campaign: a second Jill connects to your game, and you fight your way through Raccoon City together, with enemies, items, doors, and story progress synchronized between two PCs in real-time.
HeySnippy explained how co-op works in Resident Evil 3 from a technical perspective:
Each of you launches the game on your own computer, and the host user's game is responsible for synchronizing everything that happens. To connect, you need to log in to your SnippyNET account, after which you can join in two ways: enter a room code that has been shared with you, or connect to a friend from your friends list when they are the host.
HeySnippy has not yet specified when he plans to release the co-op mod for the Resident Evil 3 remake.
