Developers of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era refused to add some compositions to the game - the composer spoke about the rejected ideas

Not all ideas from the Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era team made it to release. For example, the Unfrozen studio rejected some proposed musical compositions.

Recently, composer Paul Anthony Romero gave an interview to the author of the FilmGamer HUN YouTube channel. During the conversation, he spoke about these rejected ideas.

Paul wrote several main themes for Olden Era, but he also wanted a vocal composition in the game. He invited his friend Magdalena Katanska, but Unfrozen did not like the recording they presented:

She's a great singer, and I thought: why don't we record her vocals for Olden Era? We had a beautiful song called The Olden Era. She and my friend Todd recorded it together, but the guys from Unfrozen studio didn't like it.

Paul also said that he involved a singer who worked on "Heroes 2" — the final result also did not please the developers from Unfrozen studio:

I even invited the singer from [Heroes of Might and Magic II] — Grant Youngblood, he also recorded this song, but they didn't like it either. [The developers] didn't want songs.
