For several months, rumors have been circulating about the search for an actress to play Emma Frost in the upcoming "X-Men" reboot from director Jake Schreier. Initially, only Sydney Sweeney was linked to the character, but in late June, information emerged that Marvel Studios was also considering Margot Robbie.

Now, the list of potential candidates has been expanded with another big name. Reputable insider Daniel Richtman reported that Marvel Studios is interested in bringing pop star and actress Sabrina Carpenter for an as-yet-unnamed role in the MCU.

Soon after, another well-known insider, Jeff Sneider, shared this information on social media, adding a GIF image of Emma Frost from the game Marvel Rivals.

While it's clear Marvel has more and more candidates for the role of Emma Frost, this doesn't mean that any of these actresses are guaranteed to appear in the film. For this to happen, the interests of several parties must align, and the actress herself may simply not agree to a long-term contract. Moreover, the project is in its very early stages of production, and all these names are currently nothing more than the studio's internal "wish list," which could change many times before the official negotiation stage.

The "X-Men" reboot is expected to premiere no earlier than 2028.
