Capcom has announced significant changes for Monster Hunter Wilds. The company will reduce the price of the base game, completely revamping its editions and DLC bundles.

Starting August 3rd, Capcom will gradually phase out some existing editions and add-ons for Monster Hunter Wilds. They will be replaced by new bundles with a more favorable price-to-content ratio.

The main novelty will be Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition, which includes the base game and the full DLC package. A Cosmetic DLC Collection will also be released, featuring ten sets of cosmetic items, including the Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack, which can also be purchased separately.

An even more important piece of news is the permanent price reduction for the base version of Monster Hunter Wilds starting August 4, 2026. Capcom has not yet disclosed the new price. Currently, the game sells for $69.99, so players expect a reduction to $50–60.

Monster Hunter Wilds faced technical issues after its release in 2025, especially on PC – user reviews remained mixed for a long time.
