Honkai Star Rail 4.4 Changed Russian Localization. miHoYo Discussed Game Translation Refinement

HSR developers continue to pay attention to Russian localization.

Recently, the creators of Honkai Star Rail announced the release of update 4.4, titled "Whistle at the Edge of the World". The developers introduced new story content, implemented technical improvements, and also talked about their work on the translation.

miHoYo (HoYoverse) reported that it had made changes to the Russian localization. General wording was used to describe them, without specific examples:

Dialogue texts, readable items, plot summaries, messages, NPC names, enemy descriptions, enemy skill descriptions, system prompts, and texts in the "Currency Wars", "Virtual Universe", and "Woolly Telecom" game modes have been refined and improved.

Honkai Star Rail developers clarified that these corrections and improvements to the Russian text will not affect gameplay.

Some new features and improvements:

• Refined and improved some voice lines in dialogues during the "And Everyone Laughed" Trailblaze Mission in Penacony in English.
• Fixed an issue where, under certain circumstances, the character Mortenax Blade (Nihility: Fire) would display an incorrect character model when using the Ultimate "Forging of One, Forgetting of All".
• Fixed an issue where, under certain circumstances in combat, repeatedly pressing the skill button when certain characters used certain skills would cause the image to freeze.

New characters:

• Himeko: Nova (5-star rarity, Erudition Path, Fire damage type)
• Rin Tosaka (5-star rarity, Erudition Path, Quantum damage type)
• Gilgamesh (5-star rarity, Destruction Path, Electric damage type)
