Sony and Insomniac Unveil New Marvel's Wolverine Trailer

The game will be released on September 15, exclusively on PlayStation 5.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games have released a new trailer for Marvel's Wolverine, titled Ain’t No Hero. The video showcases the dark atmosphere of the upcoming action game and emphasizes Logan's brutal nature as he embarks on a quest to uncover the truth about his past.

According to the official description, Marvel's Wolverine will offer an original story inspired by Marvel comics, but not replicating existing storylines. The protagonist will have to uncover the secrets of his past life, fighting his way to the truth with his signature adamantium claws, fury, and unwavering determination.

The game is being developed by Insomniac Games — the studio known for the Marvel's Spider-Man series. The creators promise to maintain their key principles: dynamic and fluid combat system, large-scale cinematic sequences, a wide range of accessibility features, and a rich story campaign. However, Wolverine's story will be significantly darker and grittier than the studio's Spider-Man projects.

As Logan progresses, he will encounter both allies and dangerous adversaries from the Marvel universe. Among the familiar characters announced are the mysterious Mystique and the powerful Omega Red, as well as the Reavers group, which will become one of the main threats to the hero.

The game's events will unfold in several corners of the world. In search of answers, Wolverine will visit the island nation of Madripoor, the snowy regions of Canada, and the streets of Tokyo. Each of these locations will become an arena for spectacular and bloody battles.
