"The Walking Dead" Meets Vampire Survivors - The Walking Dead: Aftermath Released

Vampire Survivors continues to inspire developers to create new projects.

Ares Interactive studio has released The Walking Dead: Aftermath - a mobile action game under the AMC license, inspired by Vampire Survivors. Players will have to fight off endless hordes of walkers, develop their own camp, and upgrade survivors.

The main characters are familiar characters from AMC's "The Walking Dead" series. Among the available fighters are Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, Glenn, and Maggie. Each of them has their own weapon, unique abilities, and fighting style.

However, the authors did not limit themselves to borrowing ideas from Vampire Survivors and generously supplied the game with mechanics familiar to the mobile market. The project features gacha monetization and an energy system that will not allow players to spend as much time in the game as they would like.
