Fallout 3 to Get a Prequel - As an Update for Fallout 76

Bethesda Game Studios recently shared its future plans for the Fallout franchise. Not only is a full-fledged numbered fifth installment in development, but also several other projects.

For example, the developers are preparing new content for the live-service game Fallout 76. The major update is called Raven Rock. The authors position it as a prequel to the story of Fallout 3. The exact release date has not yet been announced, but the release window is known – the update is planned for next year.

In the announcement, the Fallout 76 developers have not yet revealed any details about the update. However, it is known that Raven Rock is the name of the Enclave base in Fallout 3. It is expected that players will have the opportunity to see the base still functioning.

Fallout 3 itself will eventually return in an updated format – Bethesda Game Studios confirmed that a remaster is in development. A specific release date or release window has not yet been announced.

Work on The Elder Scrolls VI also continues. The game was announced about 8 years ago, but it also does not yet have a release date.
