MXGP 26: The Official Game motocross simulator announced. The franchise has finally switched to Unreal Engine 5
The game will be released in October.
Publisher Nacon and studio Artefacts have officially unveiled MXGP 26: The Official Game – a new motocross simulator under the MXGP World Championship license. The game will be released in October on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
The new installment in the series will offer players the full 2026 championship season with official riders, teams, and all 20 tracks in the MXGP and MX2 categories. The developers promise the most accurate recreation of every turn, jump, and track section to convey the atmosphere of real competitions.
One of the main innovations will be the franchise's transition to Unreal Engine 5. According to the creators, the new engine will provide a noticeable leap in graphics quality: improved lighting, textures, environmental detail, and smoother rider animations should make races even more realistic.
A key feature of MXGP 26 will be the dynamic track deformation system. Now the track will change in real-time under the influence of each motorcycle pass: new ruts will appear, trajectories will change, and the condition of the surface will directly affect the physics of control. Players will have to constantly adapt to changing race conditions.
