Combat horror Outliver: Tribulation released on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

The game combines ideas from Resident Evil and Dark Souls with African mythology.

Nigerian studio GBROSSOFT has released Outliver: Tribulation on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It's a premium third-person shooter with survival horror and "souls-like" elements, where players take on the role of soldier Bolanle Gboyegu. Fleeing from rebels, the heroine finds herself in the mysterious Realm of Tribulation, where she must undergo an ancient ritual and uncover the true nature of this place to return home.

Bolanle fights monsters with firearms and combat amulets, upgrades characteristics and equipment, solves puzzles, and moves between locations through portals. Night vision goggles are also provided for exploring dark rooms.

Outliver: Tribulation originally launched on PC in July 2023, and reached Android in autumn 2025. On Steam, the game received 77% positive reviews, but the rating is based on only 40 reviews. Users note the atmosphere and unusual setting but criticize the animation and limited combat system capabilities.
