Bane Will Break Bruce Wayne Again: Full Trailer Released for "Batman: Knightfall Part One" Animated Film

The first part of the animated trilogy based on the famous comic book arc "Knightfall" will be released on digital platforms at the end of August.

Warner Bros. has unveiled the full trailer for "Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall" — the first part of a trilogy adapting the famous 1993 comic book arc.

The film's plot will show the chaos that engulfs Gotham after Bane decides to destroy Batman physically and psychologically. The villain frees inmates from Arkham Asylum and forces the Dark Knight to relentlessly hunt down his adversaries across the city — the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Mad Hatter, and other enemies of the hero appeared in the trailer.

Batman is voiced by Anson Mount, who previously played the role in the animated film "Injustice." Bane's voice is provided by Michael Mando ("Spider-Man: New Day"), and Jean-Paul Valley is played by Pablo Schreiber ("Halo").

The film was directed by Jeff Wamester, director of the animated trilogy "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths," and the screenplay was written by Jeremy Adams.

The digital release of the first part is scheduled for August 25, 2026. The first part will be 78 minutes long. The animated film received an "adults only" rating for scenes of brutal bloody violence. The second and third parts of the trilogy will be released in late 2026 and early 2027, respectively.
