You can play a wild desert survival simulator and Metal Gear Solid for free on Steam

Developers are drawing players' attention to Icarus and the Metal Gear franchise.

In July, RocketWerkz studio launched a new promotion on PC. Steam users are invited to play Icarus for free.

The project is positioned as a session-based PvE survival game. Players are invited to explore the expanses of an alien planet:

Drop into the savage wilderness of Icarus, a Earth-like terraformed planet that is now humanity's greatest mistake. From their orbital station, prospectors descend to the surface of the planet to explore it, harvest, craft and hunt in search of fortune.

The Icarus page on Steam is available at the following link. The free access promotion will last until July 27, 20:00 Moscow time. Discounts on the game and additional content are valid until July 30.

Konami also held a "free weekend" promotion and offers Steam users to get acquainted with a project from the Metal Gear franchise.

Metal Gear Solid - Master Collection Version is temporarily available for free — the first 3D game in the series, which was released in 1998. The events unfold during a period of war threat and global nuclear catastrophe.
